The Lisa Love Experience is considered "The Number One Wedding Band in Boston, Massachusetts". The band is the collaboration of guitarist Billy Garzone and singer Lisa Love. The band got its start in 2000 playing in local restaurant, clubs and small private events. The former members of the Boston wedding band “Men in Black” decided to give their full attention to the “Lisa Love Experience” in 2005 due to it's growth of almost 150 performances a year, playing everywhere from Connecticut to Boston to Vermont and everywhere in between, large and small venues alike. The band has gained a large and loyal following (thank you to all our fans!) over the past 6 years and are now at almost one year in advance for bookings!
Thanks to the efforts of band members Gabe Cabral (drums) and Otis Rogers (vocals, bass) along with founders Lisa Love and Billy Garzone and their loyal fans and friends, the ‘Lisa Love Experience' has become one of the most sought after bands for clubs, parties, New England weddings and corporate events on the east coast.

Lisa Love ~ A familiar voice in the Massachusetts music scene since the age of 5, this soldier of song is a veritable human jukebox of rock, dance, and R&B hits. If you've ever heard her you'll know her talent and tenacity are undeniable. Lisa was won Grand Champion at the age of 9(!) on the TV show "Community Auditions, with Dave Maynard", and has been a Massachusetts musical staple ever since, performing with such bands as Soul Tree, Funkytown, Men in Black, the Odyssey ship, Soul of Boston and many more. She has performed everywhere from Boston, Michigan, Vermont, Connecticut, Maine, New York and everywhere in between! Billy Garzone, a guitarist /singer /songwriter, is a graduate of Musician’s Institute (Hollywood CA 1991). Billy has been performing locally/nationally for more than 18 years with credits from Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame’s legends to working with some of today’s top song writers: Amy Powers (Andrew Lloyd Weber), Jeannie Lurie (Hannah Montana). With over 20 yrs teaching experience, in 2005 he was featured for a full week on Boston’s CW56 10pm news for his work with National Guitar Workshop.
Along with other television and radio performances in 2006 his band was featured on Ch 5’s Boston Chronicle. One of his most recent student projects has showcased in NY and L.A. for Nickelodeon and Disney and features 2 of his students 12 and 13 yr old “Michael and Marisa” www.michaelandmarisa.com
Currently, Billy teaches at the prestigious Governor’s Academy in Byfield, Massachusetts and also offers private (in studio or in home) guitar and voice lessons. As music director for Lisa Love Experience he offers lessons in band ensemble and live performance. He specializes in recording/music production and songwriting as well.

Gabe Cabral has performed with various artists including Johnny A, Stan Strickland, The Tune Weavers, Max Weinberg, George Garzone, and Steve Hunt. Performing at venues across the country - including the Boston and San Francisco Jazz Festivals, The Gibson Lounge and the B.B. King Club in NYC - Gabe has opened up for many prestigious acts including Peter Frampton, Natalie Cole, Robert Cray, B.B. King, Derek Trucks, Robben Ford, Shawn Mullins and Little Feat. Gabe was also named musical director for the Galaxy of Stars Super Show, performing with various Las Vegas impersonators including Elvis (Greg Miller), Neil Diamond (Rob Garrett), Stevie Wonder (Bobby Brooks), and Tina Turner (Gisele).
Gabe received a bachelor's degree in performance from Berklee College of Music. While attending, he studied with Casey Scheuerell, John Ramsey, Ed Kaspik and Giovanni Hidalgo. He has studied independently with Jackie Santos.

Otis Rogers has performed in a wide range of styles on electric and upright bass, playing everything from Rock n’ Roll to Jazz to Classical. He has a bachelor's degree in music from Marlboro College and is currently the bass teacher at Greenfield Community College. He has studied bass with Don Baldini, Malcolm McLaurine, and Mike Formanek. He most recently worked with the Alessi Band before moving to the Boston area. Otis is also a certified K-12 music teacher. His energy, musical knowledge, vocal abilities, and solid sense of time make him a perfect fit for the Lisa Love Experience.
